Ferenc Puskás Stadium is the most famous football stadium in Hungary and the sight of numerous important Hungarian football matches and many other important sporting events and music concerts in Budapest.
The stadium seats 69,120 people. Perhaps the most famous sporting victory occurring at the stadium happened in 1954 when England lost 7-1 to the Magical Magyars. The English team’s heaviest ever defeat.

One of the most famous music concerts took place on the 27th July 1986 when Queen, one of the greatest rock bands ever, gave a seminal performance during their Magic Tour. Many Hungarian still vividly remember the performance as one of the first by a big western act behind the Iron Curtain.
