There are currently three metro lines in Budapest and the M1 line is one of the best for taking in some of the major
sights of Budapest.

You can buy single metro tickets for 300HUF each (or a book of ten for 3000HUF) or with a Budapest Card you are able to use the Budapest public transport system free.
