Sziget Eye at Erzsébet Square

If you want to enjoy one of the best views of Budapest then you will probably want to take a trip on the Sziget Eye in Erzsébet Square before it heads off to the Sziget Festival on the 24th June.

From Sziget Eye you can see some of the most famous sightseeing attractions in Budapest including St Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian Parliament and Budapest Castle.

The Sziget Eye is one of the biggest ferris wheels in Europe standing at 65 metres high and has been in Erzsébet Square since the 7th of June.

Those daring enough can board one of the 42 sound-proof, air-conditioned cabins with up to 7 other people. The ride takes 10 minutes stopping at regular intervals to provide you with the perfect photo opportunity. Sziget Eye operates from Sunday to Thursday between 10am and midnight and on Fridays and Saturdays between 10am and 2am.

Adults can take a ride for 2400HUF and kids under 1.4m tall can try the Sziget Eye for 1500HUF.
